In defiance of UN resolutions, North Korea fired seven short-range missiles into the Sea of Japan yesterday. The launch is another instance in a series of "provocative acts". And with seven missiles launched this time, the North may be trying to send a warning about the potential capability of overwhelming missile defense systems.
